I like Sparty in this one. I actually think Sparty had almost as good of case as TCU or Baylor. They lost to two top 4 teams and lead in the 2nd half of both.
Or there could be 8 teams and all 3 get in. That would be even better.

State lost to both tOSU and Oregon.
Why should they be included in a playoff?
I thought it was a bad matchup for Baylor from day 1 and called a plungering. Those big10 teams generally do not deal with athletic spread opponents out of conference.
I now agree with you that the bottom of the big12 is dreck. I also don't feel very confident #mybruins get past KSU either.

I'm aware they lost two games. Who were those two games against? Obviously the game being played now is proving that would be a mistake, but if one loss teams are ranked ahead of Florida State, why can't a two loss team be ranked over a one loss one, especially when those two losses are both to top 4 teams, and Sparty lead in the 2nd half of both games?
If the committee is going to do what they say, MSU won't get punished for having the balls to schedule a non conference game at Oregon when TCU, Baylor, and the SEC are scheduling games against SMU, Louisana Monroe, and Savannah State.
