University of Washington Class of 2019 Repository

It's a little bit tough right now not knowing who is leaving. It's best as soon as the February signing day finishes. Then I can move everybody up a class, lock in the redshirts, etc. But, as of tonight this is how it stands...

This is the first time I’m realizing how big our junior class is right now. We’re gonna see either a lot of coach sales or a big ass class in 2020. Probably both.

And in contrast, next year's "2021 sophomores" will be ridiculously small... only 9 guys
2025/26 will be special

A side effect of the new redshirt rule. It will be interesting to see how the coaches try to balance out the classes after that.

The nice thing for UW is that there could be a good amount of early NFL departures after the 2021 season, which will help grow the available class size. That'll be any class of 2018 kids leaving after 4 years or any 2019 kids leaving after 3.

Should probably move Warren to TE, (although that could be a moot point in a couple months). He warmed up and played exclusively with at TE/H-Backs this year.

Good point. I made the change in my file.

So Ektard had some post signing day stories.

Many of them revolves around Oregon and USC doing all they could to keep players from signing and holding off til February, which I’m sure doesn’t come as a surprise as most schools do that to other schools commits.

Rumor has it Cam Williams has to change his number so he could stop being bugged, and Cam Davis has to have his school ask USC to leave the property they were hounding him so much.

It also seems clear that one theme from recruits was the genuine nature at which Coach Pete and his assistants run their recruiting process. A handful have discussed the sales pitchy or cheesy nature of some of the other major schools that was easy to see through.

I’ve heard rumors from @Swaye that the chat in the Wam is fire right now.

Ok, so looking at our upperclassmen and the blue chip ratio (the greens) there... oh my god. We're going to be so fucking good.

WE HAVE 8 GREEN UPPERCLASSMEN.

WE HAVE 12 GREEN SOPHOMORES ALONE.

WE HAVE 15 GREEN FRESHMEN.

WE HAVE 13 GREEN COMMITS.

HO. LEE. SHIT.

WE HAVE 40 CHIPS IN THOSE LOWER CLASSES. WE HAVE 8 IN OUR UPPER CLASSES.

LEVEL. UP.
