So the kid wasn't killed?
Yes, but we wasn't ACTUALLY a republicans extremist. His murderer just thought he was. [/b] Big difference
The stupid is strong in this one.

What's sad is when grown men want to play cutsie with semantics and ignore the fact a kid is dead. He may not have had any interaction with the driver, but still dead none the less.
The driver admitted to going after a person who he thought was a member of a "republican extremist group". Maybe he ran down the wrong guy, but the fact is he admitted to 911 that he was going after the kid and now he's dead/.
It wasn't that long ago here in Georgia when a father and son saw a young black kid jogging and thought he had been stealing from their job sites. Shotgun is fired, kid is dead.
Seems like being coy with vigilantism is ok if the victim is conservative and white.

Imagine a drunk nut case making up a story to tell the cops.
And a bunch of grown men? taking the parts of the story they like as gospel.
I prefer to think you gals are just dishonest, because the alternative would be that you're unbelievably stupid.

In a better sort of world, where politicians and activists and social media rubberneckers were capable of a modicum of empathy and rational thought, we might have waited for facts that might support the conclusion before turning Ellingson's death into a political talking point. Sadly, we don't live in that world.[/i]

So the story is the person who ran over and killed the guy on purpose said he thought the person he killed was a republican extremist and was going to get friends to come after him. So he killed him with his car. Upon investigation, it appears the person killed was not a republican extremist nor was going to get friends to go after the guy. In Herr Dazzler mind this means the guy was not killed because he was an republican extremist, even though the suspect said he killed the guy because he thought he was a republican extremist and Dazzler is holding this up as "the media jumped to conclusions"
Did I get that right?
To no one's surprise, you did not.
The facts of the case so far do not support Brandt’s claims that he and Ellingson argued about politics [/b]or that the teenager was calling for people to come after Brandt, North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind told The Forum on Thursday.[/i]
Except for the person who ran him over said he did so because he thought he was part of a republican extremist group.
The fact you think this is a "win" for you weird.
"I ran over this black guy because I hate blacks". Turns out the guy was Asian. Well ok then. He couldn't have been ran over because he's black since he's Asian. So fake news in Herr Dazzlers pea brain.
Also still waiting for the links an all the case law about equal application of the law you seemed to care about.

Is the kid still dead or have fact checkers debunked that?
Yes.
No word on whether he’s still a Republican.
