why would you want him to stay? He’s not a very good coach. UW can easily do better

I think he has potential. That interior DL he had to work with after injuries was brutal

I liked his multiple 4th and 1 stops near goal lines in the Michigan and USC games. He's welcomed to stay for a while, IMO.
I'm not sure. I seriously doubt he's a good coach in terms of fundamentals, motivation, etc. I think he's pretty good at calling a defense. UW was really light on talent this year and he held together a defense that was at least functional a lot of the time.
But I really dgaf. Someone will be the DC. I'm pretty sure that's the case. If he's good at something then so much the better. I'm in the camp that says it's all about the head coach.
Especially impressive considering how effective those squads were at punching it in against elite defenses all year.
