Two Versions of DeBoer's UW Exit to Alabama — Take Your Pick

what a stupid puff piece article, makes the prearranged exit more credible because of how hard it’s thing to discredit and excuse it at the same time

Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman’s back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone AND DeBoer interviewed with Bammer BEFORE the Natty Game.

this is all predicated on Jimmy Sexton not being the Jimmy Sexton everyone knows him to be

Nobody wants to believe that their girl or their football coach would cheat

He went to the bar and two days later he woke up as Alabama's head coach and was missing a kidney.
And the fact he stopped wearing his wedding ring in Nov has no bearing on that spontaneous crazy 48hrs with the stripper from Alabama

I'll never buy this narrative. Something was off after the first Oregon game and DeBeer not signing an extensive reeks. No way Sexton didn't have at least speculation. At that point the only jobs worth jumping for that would open were Alabama and Michigan (who was clearly hiring Moore). So what? He was holding out hope he could get one of the NFL jobs? The only other year where I got the same "something is up" feeling was 2019.

What a stupid fucking article. Sure, Debag gets a call from the Bama AD, first contact he's had. Makes total sense it wouldn't be from the agent, his agent, who has worked directly with Bama, and Saban, for years.

Fucking retard.

This is all wrong. I've read it 10,000 times and watched a video that Dan Lanning was offered the job and turned it down because Oregon grass is damn green.

DeBoer interviewed in ‘23

not Grubb
Keep thinking it's a Sexton thing with setting up those interviews with A&M and Bama last year which were the two top jobs likely to come open the next year as like a feel out thing.

The only scenario that makes sense is that Sexton advised him not to accept an offer mid season because he knew that two top jobs (UM and Alabama) were going to become available and to hang out to wait for them to be announced, knowing that the uw job would still be an option at the end of the season

all the rest of the discussion is how many angels dance on the head of a pin
