It's ektard so... yeah.
That's one stupid couple of parents if they actually would prefer their son play for usc than uw
Okay, the straight dope: Past 5 years, USC and UW have each had one 1st-round DT and one late-round DT (UW in the 6th, USC in the 7th). So basically equal in terms of having DTs drafted.
Which team do you think recruited better in those years? USC's 1st-rounder, Leonard Williams, was a top-50 prospect. UW's 1st-rounder, Danny Shelton, was a 3-star prospect.
What about all possible top DTs they could have put in the NFL in that timeframe? In the USC recruiting classes that would have been drafted in the past five years, they've had FIVE DT recruits rated higher than Tuli, AND the #2 JC DT recruit in the country, and NONE of them were even DRAFTED. These classes included the #25 overall, the #9 overall, and the #69 overall players, and they weren't even DRAFTED.
Meanwhile, Vita Vea was a 3-star DT and he's going in the 1st round. Greg Gaines was ranked the #711 player in the country and he's going to get drafted next year.
Why would any parent want their kid to go to USC with that kind of development record?
