“He’s probably the worst president in the history of our country,” Trump said. “He should have devoted more time to working on a good nuclear deal with Iran instead of what he’s doing because he’s just been a disaster for our country.”

“Our country is going to hell.”

“People are tired of incompetent politicians running our country,” Trump said. “When they see a deal like the Iran nuclear deal, when they see how badly our veterans are taken care of, they’re just sick and tired of it.”

It doesn't have to be about race. But I'm not going to do that thing where I pretend race doesn't exist.

When old white men call Obama the worst president ever it's worth noting that he is the only black president.

I certainly don't think someone like Race is a racist. But he's still an old white man saying a black guy is worse than a bunch of white guys. That gives me pause. The majority of people I hear with this opinion are older white males. That gives me pause. The previous president was pretty awful. 9/11 happened on his watch. He started a war because a country had a certain type of weapon and it turned out they didn't have that kind of weapon. And while the economy isn't growing fast enough for the Obama haters it was the only thing that went down faster than the twin towers during Bush's eight years. Oh and if you bring up Bush you get immediately shut down with 7 years later and still blaming Bush or everyone does it or whatever the hot new catchphrase is. So they want to compare Obama to history you just aren't allowed to compare Obama to history.

All of that makes me stop and wonder if it's really about what Obama has done or if it's about something else. The correct answer is probably somewhere in the middle. Or as we know it better by, abundance. Which means for some of the people calling Obama the worst it is about race. Which means it is about race so that's why it just has to be about race.
