Not that I know of. Everyone has ethanol fuel now. Usually 10%.
That's part of it but not the big part. The big part is taxes and environmental regulations that can't be met. Also, switching refineries from petroleum oil to processing soy bean oil into bio diesel is incredibly lucrative because of the green's massive tax credits and incentives to take petroleum refineries offline and convert the to convert food into an energy product which is about as stupid and inefficient as it sounds.
2 refineries close means possible 8 dollar a gallon gas for the 2026 midterms

I paid $2.85 in NC over the weekend. Not $1.85 but better than it was. Just got back from the publix and 18 count large eggs are $6.53 instead of $8.99 a month and a half ago. More winning.

Yes, basically Cali can export to other states but not import without additional blending.
It puts a floor on Cali prices and essentially a ceiling on neighboring states.
To add to it, Washington is basically becoming mini Cali which will cause prices to rise in both.
