Why is lowering tuition never on the table? You know why.

When other things go up the dems blame corporate greed. Gas goes up, it's the gas stations fault. Good goes up it's the farmers. Health care it's greedy providers.

Tuition goes up and not a peep from these fuckers.

University Presidents using tuition to fill endowment coffers and erect buildings instead of fundraising is a big part of this.

Overseas millionaires willing to pay absurd foreign tuition rates which drives up the baseline for in-state applicants, while shrinking the pool of the latter is another issue.

Given the current cost of going to school someone needs to try and make the argument as to why they’re publicly funded at the state level at all.

UW has an endowment that’s gotta be north of 4b
