Ale will be a RS JR at least before he starts contributing. This kid can come in and be a big time player after about a year.
 
MJ Ale is potentially one of those kids that you never hear about ... then they play a bit in their rs soph, a little more in their Jr and then blow up in their sr year. I hope anyways.
 
This kid has it made! Dad works for Delta so he gets free airfare. He's already hit Utah, Cal, Colorado, USC, UCLA, Vandy, and is at Duke today.

He says UW, UO, and ND are next in line. Had planned to be here next week but coaches are heading out so he's going to reschedule.

Grew up in Federal Way, says he still has family and "close friends" there. His mom is close with the family of Alameda Ta'amu.

No new info on Elder, and his best offer is likely Zona with 18 others from Mountain west schools.

I still think his parents will want him close to home and I still think he’ll get a PWO opportunity.

I’m in love with how many early enrollees we are getting, not just the team, but on the OL.

IIRC Troy, Kalepo, and Buelow are all early enrollees. With the upside all of them have, getting an extra spring gives them an opportunity to reach that potential over the next few years.

I’m just fucking happy about all this shit.

That’s a good problem to have. We’ll see because as much as I love Buelow he has a long way to go and while I love Huff to the fullest as a recruiter, next year we’re really about to see how well he can develop. Not saying he hasn’t done well or anything already but with Watt sucking this year, Jax falling apart near the end of the year, and a Bain/Hilbers battle that would be a bummer if Bain didn’t win, we’ll really be able to isolate the development. I’m excited for Victor Curne.
