Wolf's the only one saying Dixon's actually off the team, other Trooj beat writers are insisting that Dixon's only suspended. Only one other TE is on scholarship with another recruit coming in the fall, so there's talk about moving linemen around to fill in.

Listen, this is what happens when you let player's be themselves. Sark knows what he is doing, he wants guys playing with an edge, and this is what happens when you have player's with edge, they get in trouble. His teams will be loose and edgy, meanwhile Petersen's team will be tight and scared of making their coach upset; which would you rather have? Since the report, a USC spokesman has said he's still on the roster, so he hasn't been "dismissed from the team". However his situation sounds similar to Josh Shaw, meaning it's out of Sark's hands and in the hands of the University to review and discipline. This means that the university will be the ones to decide whether he stays with punishment or needs to sell the couch.
