I don't think we're going after him too hard. Feels like we'd have tried getting him up here one of our 2 recruiting weekends. Unless we see a last minute announcement of him visiting this weekend, we probably like other guys more.

Yeah, my guess is our realistic DB board looks like this right now

1. Hector
2A. Covington
2B. Esteen
3A. Paster
3B. Jackson

We are losing Bryant for sure, 50/50 chance Taylor leaves early, and good chance one of Cook/Gilchrist will sell their couch. If Lake feels good about the top 3 on their board he will probably try to hold Paster off from committing.

I wonder if Jackson is above Paster, or he visited because they didn't exactly want to bring up another kid from Lawndale (Esteen) and not invite his teammate.

I like Jackson more at CB, but if Paster is coming along as a safety I'm all for it tbh.

Jackson is slow and weak and scrawny. No speed, no explosion, no physicality. Paster is 200 pounds and a lot faster on film. It's not even close. Paster has the speed to play corner and the size we want at any DB position. With Jackson, you would be hoping he gets faster as he develops more physically.
