Maybe the coaches see Trey as the future Myles type and Fig Newton as a poor mans Lavon type thing. All I know is I watch Trey and my sweats suffer blowouts.

Senior film. This kid is not a fucking WR, he's a RB. He looks like Myles Gaskin.

The number one thing I look for in running backs is the ability to keep everyone around them off balance. It's what makes RBs get extra yards, etc. He is a genius at that.

Reminds me a lot of Myles. I don't see anything like Chico - Chico was more a Sonic The Hedgehog kind of buzzsaw runner, this guy is more stop/start than Chico.

This analysis is why I stick around here. I went and rewatched after you posted this. That jump cut is just amazing! Imagine a year in the weight room what this kid will look like. How’s his top end speed?
 
Finally got around to watching his Senior film (slow day at work). Holy shit. His acceleration and sudden change of direction is unreal.

I see the Myles Gaskin comparison. I don't think he's as patient and physical, so I think he might be less consistent, which is not a slight because Gaskin is incredible in that area.

I think he's more sudden and explosive that Gaskin. I think he'll be even better at making people miss. Good vision, too. Could be our new punt returner.

I notice he's playing more WR this year than he has in the past. Obviously that's the position he wants to play. He might actually be really good there. Has the suddenness to get separtion if he can run good routes.

I do understand ballz defending the comparison to Barry, except that I'm pretty sure the Barry 2.0 statement came directly from him. That's not comparing just for the sake of describing his running style. Thats a projection and an asinine one.

He literally called him Barry Sanders 2.0 and also said his HS film was better than Barry's.
