Great to be back in the rainy NW - now up on the Swinomish Res getting my fill of Indian hospitality and fire works. Ate at the casino, surprised the food is pretty good. Like all places now a days expensive. Did not eat at the fancy restaurant where you can get a 34 oz Tomahawk Rib Steak for just $99. Bro in law is going there for a meeting with his fiancial advisor who is buying - I told him to order the Tomahawk since he is eating on the Res.

Now in Centralia living in yet another RV park although this one is kind of nice. Last year for Independence Day we were in LaConner across the river from an Indian reservation. This year out in a beginning of a rural area, the fireworks would have put the reservation to shame. It was like we were on the outskirts of Kyiv while under attack by the Russkies. Twas a 4-5 day assault.

Poor little pup was happier than hell all doped up, kind of like one of his owners. Not MrsIAmNotInLebam if you are wondering...

Will be in Centralia for an indeterminable length of time as I await confirmation on surgery day for a total knee replacement. Got referred to the surgeon today, he did not need to talk to me, saw MRI and x-rays and told the PA to schedule surgery. Did not even bother to stop by and say hello. More than likely all starry-eyed and misty thinking of the money he would be making.

Not sure why all the states mentioned - everyone knows Centralia is in SW Warshington - and we be from here originally and she misses family after 2 years on de road. We are gonna winter north of Seattle in Anacortes - closer to family. I am already getting itchy to hit the road. this layover should give me time to get my fake[/s] artificial[/s] plastic unknown substance knee working. Then heading to Michigan, Virginia, and hopefully somewhere warm (not hot) for winter. Warm to a PNWer is 50 for winter, 70 for summer. Biggest wimps in the world when the temps hit 80 and above.
 
found out today I be getting a titanium knee - so in my anticipation of having surgery in 2 weeks - I found this puppy - it is pretty bitter - love it

Knee replacement surgery went easy. Was in at 6:45 and out by noon. Have to wear compression knee highs for 2 weeks. Hard to match an outfit to those ugly fucks. MrsIamnotinlLebam said they looked like something school girls wear. If I only had a little skirt and cute little blouse to wear...

Also, a walker and a came - Jesus I am looking like all the other old farts in the RV park. Already out walking around with said balance assist devices. Amazing. Nerve blockers from surgery wear off tomorrow or the next day - then the pain kicks in.

NO MORE STUPID ASS KNEE BRACE.

don't need a walker, just a cane - my knee has never been better. I think that waiting over 2 years to get it looked at made it easy. I practiced all the exercises, funny walks, etc. and this all came together. Of course, oxycontin helps. This is some new stuff that is 12 hour slow release so I don't get all strung out on it. That shit is nasty.

With Medicare fast-approaching, I’m trying to hold off for a couple more years. I got a twofer coming, knee and hip…

I’m 50 but about 10 years ago, my hip started bothering me and my doctor said I was already a candidate for hip replacement.
