TRADING PLACES (1983) | Behind the Scenes of Eddie Murphy & Dan Aykroyd Classic Movie

I just watched it a few weeks ago for the millionth time. It still holds up.

How many times did Dan Akroyd fuck up his line while JLC dropped her top?

#spectacular
#real

My brother and I still beat $1 on all our bets due to this movie.

Same thing with Brother_de_Jour. If I lose I always try to find the most mangled, hanging on by a thread bill I can find.

He usually retaliates the next time he loses by trying to pay me in foreign currency or some shit.

Agreed. The only flaw I can find is the cringe worthy scene in the train where everyone goes in disguise to switch the crop reports.

But other than that the themes of rich vs. poor, nature vs. nurture, and the oh so quotable dialogue make this a classic.

Yeah that scene is pretty cringe-worthy. Mr Beeks kind of saves it though. It's hard for that actor to have a bad scene.

Me too...when the Wall Street bets/GameStop happened everyone in the house crashed early on that Friday. Decided to pour a nice Jack and Coke...along with a few more....and watched it. Seemed appropriate.
