Top ten plays from Duck win over Cal

There were several defense clips. I enjoyed Pittman’s 1st catch as a Duck too.

I especially like Troy Dye hurdling over the Cal Offensive lineman to help on ISM’s sack and also KT’s sacks. KT is a beast.

Clip #5

When they were showing offensive highlights on the video board they were showing like 7 yard runs. This is what our the offense has been reduced to. A run up the gut for half of a first down is a highlight.

Defense was money, though. Cal did better with Modster than they would have with Garbers because Modster can move. KT or Funa are going to murder a statue QB. I bet Modster was pissing blood today after that sack from Popo. 330 pounds in the kidneys has to hurt.

IMO this is the best defense since I have been an Oregon fan and that is a long long long time.😁

The real travesty is this defense has to be paired with an incompetent, flaky offense led by dumbass rookie OC who is operating at a high school level, an overrated QB that throws more turds than smart passes, and a stable of mediocre, small running backs who don't have any moves. Not to mention wide receivers who can't catch a ball.

IMO you are absolutely correct on Arroyo. You are somewhat correct with the rest but a little harsh IMO.

Our receivers haven’t been dropping the balls like last year. JJ3 has improved imeasurably under Boatwright. He is money. Breeland has been great. He is near the top nationally in several TE categories. Delgado and Davis have performed well when given the opportunity. Now we have Pittman and Schooler moving forward.

I like Pittman so far. Breeland is great. Schooler is a pass dropping bum like the rest of them.

Redd isn’t a “pass dropping bum”. People here tried to tag him with that but it just wasn’t true. That catch he made in the Washington game last year is an all time highlight.

I never said Redd was a bum. Redd is a keeper.

As bad as it looked particularly in the 1st half realistically Oregon churned out:

26 1st Downs

404 yds Total offense

214 yds Passing

190 yds rushing

Other than the fact that Schooler is one of the fastest if not THE fastest WR we have the reason he is so valuable and the coaches want him on the field can be seen in one of these photos. Sorry I couldn’t copy the exact photo but it is about the 21st row down where he is blocking for Breeland.

If you want to be a receiver at Oregon and see the playing field you better be able to block.

There are ten just on the defense if you watched the game.

There were:

4 Sacks

7 Tackles for Loss

2 Interceptions

Before one gets into any other great individual plays

Also churned out 2 back to back fumbles and an interception. The offense is twash.
