Then why aren't the states with the highest per capita gun ownership experiencing the high spikes in crime? Why is all almost entirely correlated with cities/states with strict gun control laws and low gun ownership rates?

Yeah but they're only single moms because they didn't have "comprehensive" sex education in school or access to "free" birth control. Kobe's claim that the rise in crime can be attributed to the rise in gun violence is pure bullshit. Crime of all kinds, not just those involving guns is up, and you can thank BLM and releasing people out of prisons, liberal DAs who refuse to prosecute crimes for it. But you're right, the one factor that's nearly always present when you're looking at the people who commit most of our crime is growing up with a single parent, usually a mother.
