Woodward technically hired Pete

She wanted to keep Lake as late as mid October 2021[/b]

Touche' on the Campbell comment

She was still giving Lake a chance to stick around around the Oregon game but lucky for us, he didn’t apologize enough.

If we take the pressers at face value, sure. I find it hard to believe that contingency plans weren't being desperately worked out behind the scenes while publicly supporting the then-coach to the press in case you're stuck with him. She was probably trying to scrape together the money and hedging bets in the meantime. I don't believe for a second that Cohen wanted[/i] to keep Lake, hence firing him for what anybody who played football knows was basically a love tap that wouldn't have even raised an eyebrow if Lake had a winning record.

She wanted to keep him because she is nothing more than a bean counter at heart. She gets out of the way of the people she hires, but doesn’t bring anything else to the table. She could do worse, but she doesn’t do anything herself to improve or lift the performance of the athletic dept.

HANG THE DAMN BANNER!!!!

Best $17.0M the program has spent

Imagine how much more they would've lost if they kept Lake

Imagine how much they would've saved had Cohen not hired Lake to begin with

A world could exist...

No AD is telling Peterman to fuck himself there.

Classic HH circle jerk material

Doesn't seem like he would have been that attached to Lake but who knows
