I don't really read Jim Morrisons stuff

Jim Morrison never had to face a ranked Grateful Dead

This is actually kinda true, the Dead didn't really get their reads down until 1970 and by that point Jim was close to selling the couch.

He did face a gritty upstart named Jimi Hendrix in 1969, and Jimi scored the upset in overtime. Afterwards, Ray Manzarek said they just needed some more tim to get their guys in there, while Morrison did blow and fucked a girl in an elevator. I blame the coaches.
