Pocatello is very isolated so it takes some travel time to get there... Pete still went but I can see why Urban wouldn't. You have to wonder if that helps Togiai and his family realize how far Columbus is and how hard it will be for Tommy to travel home and vice versa. And for his coach, could it help him realize that Meyer doesn't give a shit about him? If he won't make the trip to see one of his top recruiting targets, no way he'll ever think of that recruit's coach ever again.

It’s a fairly easy trip from Seattle ... direct flight to SLC and short drive ... there aren’t direct flights from Columbus to SLC

Meyer will probably visit some other time. Guessing they want to spread out Meyer and Johnson visits and maximize those two elite recruiters at separate times.
