Motley Crue releases Shout At The Devil

It didn’t take long for disgruntled teens to connect with the release, which sold 200,000 copies in two weeks and reached as high as No. 17 on the Billboard album chart. Shout at the Devil went gold in January, 1984 and was platinum less than a month later. By January, 1985 it was double platinum. And in May 1997, it went quadruple platinum.

I bought my copy in December 1983 with Christmas money.

Motley Crue sucks.

Your mom's a whore.

Is that one of their shitty songs?

No, your mom's a whore.

Not a song, a fact.

Your inability to defend Motley Crue is telling.

Shit band is shit.

I rest my case.

Just a question, asking for a fren:

How is he supposed to actually defend Motley Crue to your satisfaction. Length in the business, number of gold records, amount of money they made. Size of the venues they are still playing, 35 years after they started, number of songs used in national commercials.

Just wondering which facts you would allow to change your mind.

Nothing, because they suck.

That's the ruse.

But he didn't even give it the college try.

Because it's not worth it, and deep down Toppy knows it.
