Quit worrying what former players think about the program and the coaching. A lot do them really don’t know shit and they also don’t want to lose access and puss off the current coaches. Very few follow it as closely as us and the schemes are so different now, a lot don’t even understand the game. Some never did but were coached up and freak athletes.
Mario probably knows Jimmy and is friendly with him. They might have even coached together when Mario and Jimmy were both briefly here in the early 2000’s.
Mario is very wrong for bringing race up when we lost to Montana. It’s indefensible. I don’t disagree with you at all, but Mario was a Husky Legend and it’s kind of lame to take shots at him. Reffett was JAG on the Ty teams so it doesn’t matter as much.
