is a 3 * kicker basically a 5*? Do kickers top out at 3? I don't think I've ever seen one higher.

Rivals/247/Espn etc don’t rank kickers, it’s based on the Chris Sailer academy and maybe some other groups out there.

Disagree. There's a reason why recruiting rankings correlate so strongly with wins. On the micro level obviously no one "knows" if a player will be good but you have a very good idea.
Kickers are a different story, no one really knows. There's a reason the recruiting services don't really try and evaluate them.
What a fucking waste of a scholarship.
