Total defense rank each year at Colorado. Leavitt took over a worse defense at Oregon in year 1 and will finish way ahead of 85 this year. Looks like he's on track to me

As much as people think coaches make up for talent, they don't. Saban at Bama and Dabo at Clemson were barely even competitive their first year.

Apelu is starting at LB which means our LB group is awful, minus Dye. They are taking four HS LB's and trying to take one JUCO in this class.

Our corners are really bad. C64 is turning into a good one, but Graham has already hit his ceiling. That's why they are going to bring in five DB's in this class.

They'll end up with five or six line guys also, but that's just being responsible.

Didn’t say way worse? And Oregon was #126 in 2016, which yes, is worse than 114. Jfc hoke was bad

Firmly forgets to mention every coach at Boise has been awesome since Koetter and Harsin currently. He was just another cog in the wheel there.

This is the thing that just isn't true. Those guys were good at Boise, but Pete took Boise to heights no one did before or since. He may or may not be a great coach but trying to explain away his success at Boise with "everyone else did it" is willfully ignorant. No, they didn't.
