That's right, it's the 10th year of predicting the record for the 2024 season here on HH. Fall camp starts tomorrow, so it's time to get your your predictions in for the 2024 season. As always, I'll screencap the results after the first day.
Due to the changes in Vanilla formatting, I'm not posting links to the old results.

I need to see some line play on both sides before I adjust expectations. Plus Fisch and co don't seem like a guarantee to have their reads down starting out.

With so many unknowns between the players, the coaches, and the new conference, I'm curious to see who is optimistic vs pessimistic about Fisch

Count me as pessimistic now, with a 7-5 record in the season plus a bowl win

It’s gonna look really ugly most of the season. Not ugly great, like last year. Just ugly.

Here's me:
  1. Weber State W 38-13 - Choppy but a comfortable win against a middling Big Sky opponent. No Montana.
  2. Eastern Michigan W 31-17 - They've become a good MAC program and this scares me but a win.
  3. Washington State W 28-24 - Continuing this game is AIDs. Escape with a win over a greased Cuog.
  4. Northwestern W 27-14 - Good game to work out kinks against a try hard team with a shitty offense.
  5. at Rutgers W 23-21 - Shit fest on the east coast on a Friday night. UW should be better enough to win close.
  6. Michigan L 10-28 - Some excitement early but UW is rebuilding too much to make it too close.
  7. at Iowa L 13-27 - Heard this game is at 9am. Terrible game after the Michigan showdown.
  8. at Indiana W 37-31 - As close as a get right game as this team can do coming off a bye.
  9. USC W 41-34 - USC, and their defense specifically, could be a disaster and a great opponent right here at home to build momentum.
  10. at Penn State L 7-35 - This team is probably getting blown out by someone. This is the likely candidate.
  11. UCLA W 34-24 - They suck, don't care about football, and are coming to Seattle in mid-November. Win.
  12. at Oregon L 17-27 - Fisch fucks and knows this is a big game. Just too tough of a situation to win though.
  13. Win mediocre bowl game

7-6
Too many ?’s on the O & D lines, plus the Stevie B question which I think is the major one. I just have a bad feeling he’s in way over his head. Kinda reminds me of Tosh down south w/ out the HC probably being the caller and the elite recruiting.
Do think Fisch is the guy but 2-3 years off.

I dunno man. Steve is pretty low on my list of concerns. He was taught by the GOAT, who just turned down an NFL job to help Steve this year.

I really want Fisch to fuck shit up but he needs to PROVE IT. Until then:
  1. Weber State W Definite Win
  2. Eastern Michigan W Definite Win
  3. Washington State W Likely Win
  4. Northwestern W Likely Win
  5. at Rutgers Toss Up. I am glad Rutgers plays at VaTech the week before
  6. Michigan L Definite Loss
  7. at Iowa L Likely Loss. Iowa at least plays tOSU the week before
  8. at Indiana W Likely Win
  9. USC Toss Up
  10. at Penn State L Definite Loss in WHITE OUT conditions. However, they do play tOSU the week before and if they lose could be sleep walking
  11. UCLA W Likely Win, but I am less optimistic than others, since UCLA plays back to back Fridays and we play Saturday in @Logisticsally challenging State College, possibly with a 7pm EST kick.
  12. at Oregon L Definite Loss
I'm tossing in a Bowel win I guess.

the inexperienced offensive line and depth suck until they don't.
can they pull it together? sure. but they need to get a lot better and pray to the football gods and the devil that no one gets hurt.

The team has a QB, receivers, corners and running backs.. what else do you think that you need ? The rest is smoke and mirrors

I like your negative new fish but you’re not really new… are you.
