Tim Kennedy on Witnessing the Fall of Afghanistan

There are still Americans there. We abandoned Afghans who helped us to be tortured and killed. The Chinese took over the air base we had. The $85 billion in weapons and aircraft are now in the hands of Chinese and Taliban. We looked like cowards and our current allies can't trust us. It was an absolute disaster in every conceivable way. And yet nobody has lost their job or been reprimanded.

I also didn't like Joe and Tim acting like there is moral equivalency, when they say there are equal lunatics on both sides. Yes the far right has some lunatics, but it's 90%-10%. I don't believe Tim believes that anyway, though I could be wrong.
 
Then Tim comes back to America and within minutes he sees a soft and whiney nation

Good poast and I agree with your 90% - 10% estimate. There are far more lunatics on the left, but what happens in conversation is that people who see themselves as centrist feel compelled to appear balanced at the expense of the objective truth.

No way. The president says far right extremist are the nations biggest threat. They are literally roaming around with assault machine weapons killing people.
