It's not about whether UW should poach him or not ... one could question whether or not how great Adams is. Everybody sees the 475 yards and 7 TDs that he threw against UW last year. How many of those throws were tight throws that were a fraction of an inch away for being knocked down or even intercepted.
UW's not in a spot where they are going to compete for a conference title next year (most likely) and development of what is on the roster is more important.
To me, it's more of a statement of Oregon trying to put themselves in a position to win the division AND speaks to the lack of development that they've had at the QB position on their roster.
i don't think Peterman wants a 1 and done QB
Or EW sloppy seconds
My dog who was put down the morning of the Oregon game in 2008 is a better option than Miles. I'm wondering myself why we don't want VA
If Oregon or UCLA want VA, it doesn't matter whether UW wants VA or not.Take VA, redshirt Jake
Most think Oregon. But Texas and UCLA appear to be options as well.
I don't think VA makes sense for UW or vice versa. UCLA and Oregon are both teams that have top10, Rosebowl potential with the right QB.

Oh good, can we get another offseason of UCLA national championship hype? Brett Hundley couldn't get them even close, and as good as Vernon is, he wouldn't either. UCLA is perennially overrated, and no amount of top 5 recruiting classes is going to change that.
