Thoughts on d2d

I have recently received complaints from a couple posters about d2d, and I do understand why they want him banned. There often are times that a thread looks like it might be interesting and then suddenly d2d comes in with a wacky post that seems to seek attention for himself. And then the thread is a complete shit show.

Sometimes I feel a tad frustrated because I spend effort finding interesting stories to post here and those are sometimes the threads turning into shit shows from his hijacking efforts.

Sometimes I also feel like he's entered Splooge territory, and I think about reaching for the nuclear button.

However, d2d is doing his posting in the Tug Tavern, and that's what the Tug is for. It's a catch-all and outer limits kind of place. If d2d was polluting the Hardcore Husky board then I would take action.

Circumstances can always change in the future, but that is the way I see it today. Feedback is always welcome. And by the way, comparing d2d to Harvey Road is about as fucking stupid as comparing Felix Hernandez to Mark Langston.

As a victim of scores of bans from Fagman and many years ago now, ESPN, I enjoy the lack of censorship, and I do agree that d2d hasn't really earned a ban. It's obvious he posts a lot of shit to get a reaction, and to be quite honest, most of it's no worse than some of the redundant jokes and sycophantic behavior on display here daily. If he posted a beheaded body after being told not to, OK, sure, he needs a timeout.

That said, he ought to work on posting fewer "exaggerations" and incendiary hijacks.

As for Harv, he can fuck up a bored apparently. Maybe at the time he was banned, with this bored just starting to add members, there was some pragmatism to the decision. I still didn't like it.

I think two years later, the board can handle it better. If people can't (as easily?) make a bunch of names, he can't spend hours in the basement making 30 names to fuck with people. Plus people know what to expect here now.

 
Can we just send him back to dawgman and let him post to his heart's content about his sources inside the NCAA, his MMA buddies, and the U of Hoe?

You'd think the mocking he gets would be enough to make him LEAVE!!11!, but he's obviously a paste eater who's a little slow on the uptake, so he hangs around for more.

It would be nice if he said something funny once in an ever, though.

Listen guys. This is 4th grade shit. Seriously embarrassing to read. If this board wants to stomp kim this is hardly advanced discussion. He needs to stop. Everything he posts reflects negatively on the rest of the Hardcore Husky staff. His negativity is angering a lot of people out there and we can't allow that to continue
