Thoughts from the weekend...

Just going to relay some rumors that my friend heard from his source within the program.

-Kendyl Taylor is planning to transfer
-Jaydon Mickens is considering transferring. Apparently he hates Brent Pease, along with all of the other receivers.
-No one has any faith in Jonathan Smith's playcalling abilities.
-Troy Williams was demoted to third string the week of the UCLA game but didn't find out until gametime. Coach Smith was supposed to have a sit down with him but he was too much of a pussy to have the talk.
-Nuss was the backup plan in case Petersen didn't accept the job. Until it was official, there was apprehension within the athletic department that Petersen would get cold feet so they had a separate press release planned to announce Nuss as the new coach just in case.
 
If the Smith stuff is in anyway true, then he needs to be replaced before spring ball.

 
Kendyl Taylor has a place on this team. I just think everyone is pissed because numbers are down. The offense is a fucking disaster, and that's supposed to be Pete's thing, so he needs to fix it. The D is fine.
 
The Smiff stuff is concerning, have to wonder about the "hates Pease" and if its a personality thing, he makes them work to much, just a bad coach or what.

This is just another example that HH has more breaking news and inside info than the LP3. Roadie heard rumblings on Pease and it made sense given that the best WR's weren't playing.

I heard that the younger big swinging dicks loved Sark and wanted Nuss to be coach because of the social benefits.

Roadie said it best. Smith was not a championship hire. Nothing against the guy, I don't blame him. It was a total reach of a hire and he came into a situation that was a mess and not fluid, making it even more difficult.
 
I thought the Nuss stuff was common knowledge. I'm surprised you're surprised.
 
Mickens can transfer his way to fly sweep specialist at Central for all I care. Taylor should be moreincorporated into the offensive game plan.

Clearly there's some issues in the program, from the transition between staffs, and/or the staff itself with the players. Head coach matters the most, but frankly I'm tired of having a coaching roster with anyone reaching CozzettoFS territory. The problem is that we don't know if it's the players or the coaches yet, although we are starting to get an idea.

I know you are being sarcastic....but spuds aren't grown in Moscow.

Mickens won't go anywhere...he'd have to sit a year to play one year....or go down to EWU or something
