Thoughts and Prayers to the Huffman Family

This is awful news.

DIPG is diagnosed in 300 people each year. Median survival after chemo seems to be less than a year.

I hope she's able to enjoy the rest of her life.
 
Fucking brutal. Breaks my goddamned heart. Poor girl. Innocent with a whole life supposed to be in front of her and it's taken away. Life is so fucked sometimes.

Huffman was a longtime poster on the UCLA scout site before he became an employee of scout, so a lot of the UCLA site posters have been donating. I hear it's up to $35K in less than a day.

There are few times in life where you feel helpless to do anything ... this is one of those times.

The only thing you can hope for at this point is for her to live as long as possible and to do so as pain free as possible.

As of this moment the figure raised is $49,524. Needless to say, cancer is expensive. My brother's wife passed away from ovarian cancer. The total bill was over $2 million. I'm sure a lot of us can give something here...
 
I want to get really angry about this and destroy something over the unfairness of it. But, that would do nothing positive so I will sit here and weep for awhile.

Despite all the shit we talk about scoot and TBS, the news hits too close to home.
