Embarrassing opening second half drive. Penix capped it off by not just getting the short yardage first down like he was doing in the first half. 42 points still could have and should have been had this game especially with the interception.

Grubb is in love with Bernard's skillset which he is a versatile player but you have to go conservative and guarantee a 17 point lead with ~10 minutes to go and Arizona needing 6-8 minutes per drive to even score.

I liked that deep shot and it was close. Penix had a little pressure that forced him to throw early. If Westy can haul in the 2nd down pass, he picks up 5 yards minimum but he didn’t do it.

DeBoer has shown the tendency to go for knockout shots vs body blows.

Agreed, merely showing up isn’t enough. Penixs interview had him speaking to that a little bit. He also said repeatedly that they beat themselves or something like that.
