Because next time we are in a similar scenario where we actually NEED a first down, Peterman will rethink this and do the wrong thing the other way around.....
That's what annoys me about this revisionist history. Everyone assumes that if we start taking knees and go backwards with time still on the clock, everything would've gone just fine and dandy.
