Ole Miss vs. Presbyterian (Oral Roberts, Episcopalian, and Seventh Day Adventist said no)

Mississippi St. vs. UT-Martin

So they can rest their starters for a half and then get back to their EIGHT game conference schedule

Why does it matter if you play a retard in November instead of September?

Getting these shitty games out of the way early would be ideal.

At least they'll take a hit in the poles for doing this.

It will affect them just as much as Oregon's victory over South Dakota affected them.

Probably, but still...A late season cupcake looks worse than a preseason cupcake.

No, it actually looks intelligent because it's basically a bye week heading into the gauntlet.

It's intelligent to give themselves a rest. But it's not clever enough to pull the wool over the rest of the nation's eyes. Late season cupcakes look bad and deserve punishment, if everyone else is playing legitimate teams that time of year.

The WSJ had an article earlier this week that said college football fans are the biggest shit eaters ever (paraphrased).

It is the shortest season ... with the entire first month it is all big school vs. little sisters of the poor ... then conference games start and we get Oregon vs. Washington or anyone vs. WSU ... basically we get one good game a week and one or two worth it bowl games.

Why? September is unwatchable without SEC conference games.

Miss State didn't play anybody until week 4. Their non conference schedule was worse than UW's.

Southern Miss
UAB
at South Alabama
UT-Martin

Their TUFFest OOC game was a Sun Belt team that started football in 2009 and became DI-A last year.
