Like the DOJ threw out the allegations against Gaetz? You seem to see a difference. What about the old made up sex allegations against Trump that a New York jury thought was worth a billion dollar fine against Trump? I'm not sure where your lines in the sand are and I'm not sure you do either. And don't tell me that McConnell is your navigation loadstar.

I have no clue if the Stuff is made up against Gaetz.... as a Florida congressman, I didn't care because he didn't affect me personally... but as AG he needs to be a change agent... if he is in the middle of fighting for his polical life he can't do what the country needs.... there are plenty of other good candidates out there that can do it well(Like Bondi)

You should watch the video I posted earlier and you can hear what Gaetz said. Believe him or not, then compare to the story floating around.

Seems like a lot of word salad. You don't like Gaetz because of stuff. When you say you "have no clue", then I'd stop digging. Trump had a ton more of "allegations" thrown at him that got him indicted and convicted. So, Trump should have quit because he can't be a change agent because he has alienated every dem and enough RINOs that they should dictate policy rather than an elected president.

I Have no opinion on Gaetz... except that he currently has an ethics investigation out there that would derail his conformation process... we need an AG in there asap.... not several months from now. And yes Trump would have had a very hard time with the confirmation process too... but obviously as President that doesn't matter...
But advise and consent is in the constitution for a reason....

But for real, that's a little poignant. Trump very likely wouldn't be confirmed for a cabinet post in his own cabinet even w 53 votes.
