It was Washington State all over again, except Penix didn't get sacked into forcing a long ass FG.

I don't think they'll learn, it's who they are.

They made the same calculation against running out clock vs. Oregon State (a 20 yard back shoulder on 3rd and short in the rain and connected).
 
No excuse not to take a knee on 3rd. At best, Texas gets the ball with about 10 seconds from their 20 after the punt. They aren't going 2 plays in 80.
 
Especially cause we took the delay of game to give ourselves more room to punt.

Run around to burn seconds and slide down.
