Is anyone else having difficulty processing the once in a lifetime shit of the past few years?
In just over 3 years we've been witness to the following events:
  • A loss to FCS Montana
  • Husky HC fired over player (physical) abuse
  • Cougs planting their flag on the 50 yd line of Husky Stadium
  • Pac 12 Forever Champs and 13-0
  • A Heisman Trophy runner up
  • Our first NY6 Bowl Win in over 20 years
  • Natty Game Appearance
  • Losing a coach to Alabama
  • Losing to Coug in the Clink due the worst play call in the history of sport
Oh and I'm driving up to Seattle on Friday to watch UW's first B1G Conference Game in our storied history.

I'm the most traditionalist, slow strategy guy in our community. I fucking hate change.
But I made my peace with the modern college football gods and have accepted the up and downs.
My strategy is get way up in the good years and then check-out mentally during the bad ones.
 
What time on Friday, and I'm just going to assume Sunday, should I expect you at the Nisqually River Bridge? I should be able to fit you in around @chuck 's multiple time slots. I'll have some Coors Banquet beers cooling in the waters of the Nisqually for you. Just ignore @Swaye and his relatives genocide the spawning salmon. They usually join in after the slaughter, then enjoy the latest iteration of Skid Row at the Red Wind Casino.
As always on gayme day I'll be in the bushes between the Montlake Bridge and Climbing Walls. I'll be wearing a Husky starter jacket from 1991 and one of those baseball caps with the stuffed animal husky, kind of perched on the brim. Go Dawgs! Woof!

I'm mostly joking about The Talking Heads shitting on. It's mostly that stupid suit and dancing that irks me.
You can also add to that list.
-The Pac-12 basically disintegrating out of nowhere with USC (and technically UCLA) leaving, which was one of the most shocking sports news pieces I can ever remember. Then the Pac actually disintegrating when…
-Then UW gets a life raft to the Big 10. I don't like that it's what needed to happen, but it's still shocking it happened.
-Beating Oregon twice in the same season. The first in one of the most-incredible games and settings you could ever imagine, the second after nearly two months of out of control media fellating and chest beating and DraftKings incel genius
-Making the right hire twice which is a huge move for UW. Totally could have seen UW go the lazy way and hire Wilcox over DeBoer and promote Grubb over Fisch. I'm not selling my Fisch stock yet and I think we are forgetting how awful the OL situation was. Keep the interior three from last year (and I don't even think the guards were exceptional) and Fisch smokes Cuog.

What's crazy now is how compressed the space-time continuum is of the ups and downs.
