This is a black eye for USC, IMHO

the last guy to win defensive player of the year as an underclassman? Steve Emtman.

This is interesting because every year Arizona takes a ton of guys that are not as highly rated. It's like they actually evaluate the talent themselves instead of services.

Honestly, everybody gets a fucking boner over some overlooked, low-rated white guy but it doesn't mean shit. There are a million 2-star kids that Sirmon said that to who went on to suck and NOGAF because it doesn't match with the 'lunch pail, hard hat' mentality that everyone fucking loves.

Scooby Wright can suck a dick.

Exactly. Good for Scooby for just wanting it and busting his ass to become a player, but there probably were a dozen more prospects at that camp that fucked him up in every other measurable besides determination. Somewhere a pudgy white OLB for Sac State is hitting a bong and playing x-box because Sirmon said the same thing.

the fact is we had a chance with Scooby and his parents, and we fucking blew it, that is all on Peter Semen and Sark. I imagine Sark had the last word on Scooby and he chose to go with future superstars like Blake Rodgers and Sean Constantine, guys in the mold of Nez Perce johnny (a guy whose started for 4 years and still cant find the football or make a routine tackle.

You know how good this defense would be with Scooby? He'd be worth 2 wins. Combined with the 2 wins from John Ross and we'd be 12-1. Timu by himself cost us 2 losses. Great kid but one of the worst 4-year starting backers we've ever had, or in the history of football.

Paridise, its just a running joke you braindead motherfucker. And since you asked, we would have beat Stanford and Arizona with scoobs, so actually there is some truth to it. Now back to your tv dinner

If you combine Timu's athleticism and Dennisons ability to tackle then you might have something. By themselves, you don't have much

Honestly, WGAF? I've seen Wright play twice now, in person. Probably six more times on TV. Other than one miracle tip-drill play against Oregon last year, I'm thinking Bishop and Dwayne aren't that impressed. UW ran straight through/over/around him, and the rest of that shitty defense, each of the past two years.

If he doesn't strip Marriott and have the name Scooby ...

He's not D Player of the year.

139 tackles, 27 TFL, 14 sacks, and 6 FF's say hi.

The problem with this is you're assuming he would have developed the same way at UW. TUFF kid and all, but he didn't coach himself up.
