Petersen has blown everything up. He's already imploding. If Sark was here, he would have at least kept it close and we would have had Stringfellow, which would have been the x factor.

Well, at least that's probably what KJV will barf out on doogman.com soon.

Nah. The UW just has players that are average at best. I'm interested in seeing what this team looks like when it's mainly Petersen recruited players.

I know... I'm just being sarcastic. I definitely think Petersen will do a lot of good things here.

The season is not over.

Anyone notice how soon the young guys started seeing action? It's pretty apparent to me that the outside of the D Line and Shaq, the younger people on this team are buying in to the coaches faster than the incumbents.

False, every new coach wants his guys in there regardless. Who really cares who the subs are?

The season is over when you are out of the race before November.

Depends on what your goals are. Sure, the Pac-12 championship is out of the question. The team is going to have to refocus and set new goals. It goes back to Petersen's process... just continue to get better. The just need to go out and win the rest of their games. At the very least, they need to kick the shit out of the weak teams remaining on the schedule.

ASU / Arizona / UCLA ... must win all 3

I don't see another Cal on our schedule.

Fuckity fuck fuck fuck, even coogs might make it a game in Apple Cup.

Beavs, Colorado, and Wazzu are garbage. Sure, the Cuogs always get up for the Apple Cup, but Halliday will take a few shots from the UW defensive line and it'll be a long afternoon for them. ASU, Arizona, & UCLA will be difficult for sure. If Pete can get the Huskies to win at least 2 of those games, then they'll be in good shape.

Fuck that. Petersen won with lesser talent at Boise. We were outplayed, out coached an made too many mistakes. oregon knew what we were doing on every single play. Completely unimaginative.

I'm only hoping they take one out of three you listed there.

We like to shit on Smith, but it's not like there are all these lights-out play-makers on offense. Plus, Oregon's defense deserves a lot of credit tonight. A lot of us discounted them, but they were solid tonight.

Smith still cocks.

One thing that I'll criticize him for is not designing any run plays for Miley and/or running more option plays.
