Although I think this team (and agree Dipoto > Z) is a lot better than the 2009 team, there are a lot of parallels between the two GM's first seasons. Jack Z started off with the same general philosophy: pitching, defense, speed. I think the 2009 team won 85+ games. It wasn't until the last two or three seasons that Z decided to do a 180 and hoard all the slow "power" bats.
