Agree with first statement. I wish Pete and his assistants had that kind of emotion in 2019. We wouldn't be in this mess otherwise.

In the unrecorded pod cast last night @iDawg and I were talking about kids today as well. I pointed out that they no longer need a subscription to Sports Washington to read that their shit doesn't stink. They are dialed in on the world wide web just like us?

It takes even more self discipline now when you are a 5 star in your sophomore year of high school and you can read all about it daily and have creepy guys tweeting at you

I suspect that those players inclined to not like Jimmy are well aware of the buzz among the fans.

I first posted it when I realized he had brought the guy from Alabama who left his family for a stripper/sex worker, even before I knew she had a monkey. That tells me these are not serious people. These are still frat boys, sober or not.

Can you imaging DJ hiring a guy who just left his wife and kids for a stripper/pro? Can you imagine Coach Pete hiring that guy? No. That's what we need, not just a guy with a whizbang offense. And maybe the asst. is right, the guys are soft. But who makes them soft? They don't start out soft. They don't come fully formed soft. Not most of the time. Most of the time, the culture allows them to be soft. Mistrust that your coaches know what they are doing makes you soft.

I can't remember the details but Coach James once had one of his assistant coaches who was paying for an apartment for his girlfriend even though he was married. I can't remember the details of what James said to him. But I remember something about they were having an emergency meeting about a recruit and they couldn't get ahold of said assistant. And James was pissed off.
 
This Sark has been boring compared to USC Sark. Hopefully he goes on a bender soon then we can start his alcoholic redemption arc.
