It was your typical Pete year where the team looked pretty good/finally put together, especially on defense the last 3 games but you didn't know how good because of who they were playing. That Boise team I believe was a one loss team who was underwhelmed at not playing in a NY6, but they weren't even competitive in that. Was an absolute ass kicking which I enjoyed because fuck Boise.

But they were playing better when they dropped that Utah game. Completely mailed it in in Boulder. Infuriating year. Pete didn't have it anymore.

Meh. This is just classic confirmation bias. It's telling because we want it to be telling. But these exact comments are made by players every single time there's a coaching change. Sometimes they're telling, sometimes they're not. Time will tell. Either way it will be chinteresting.

I watched the Vegas Bowl in a strip club diner with three friends somewhere in Tacoma. I posted about it and the late @TommySQC said he'd dined there many a time.

Even the 2019 Rose Bowl sucked. I knew we were going to lose unless Ohio State turned it over six or seven times, and even then, we still might. They have a different level of talent and the gap is even wider now.

That was a weird nonsensical take. Coming out of last year they looked like 1/2 North contenders, but 12-0 read like a pill trip coming from him.
