It's sick
To me its not surprising at all. Trump got in the way of their control over the people and this is what socialists/communist/fascists have done since the begging of the modern society. They kill, jail, wrongfully accuse, indoctrinate children and destroy families. Its what they do, who they are. Violence is always part of liberal behavior.
What I am shocked at, is the sheer number of democrats who openly cheer the near death of Trump and wish that the shooter had finished the job. They are so open with their hatred and there are so many of them that they feel comfortable wishing for death out loud.

In their mind all evil is directly attributable to him and with him gone things will go back to “normal” and they can continue pushing their “progress”

After all, he spent 1932 campaigning, negotiating, doing interviews—being a mostly normal politician. Don’t burn down cities in the name of justice for a junky criminal who died of an overdose. Go to work in respectable clothing and show up on time. shake a hand firmly. no dead fish handshake. Don’t expect others to add pronouns to their signature. Affirm reality, there is only male and female. Respect free speech. Don’t demonize someone for being white or any color. You know just normal day to day stuff. Not hard.
