Sorry @backthepack , @JoeEDangerously . I just came to the realization that people could be offended to have their terrible takes amplified years later. It ain't personal. Maybe we could leave names out of our screenshots. Maybe it's just me who finds this funny right now. Maybe I should stick to the great takes thread. Maybe I should shut up altogether sometimes. Maybe the worst takes thread is community builder we all craved? Maybe this builds camraderie and humility and we all move to a great Husky commune together on a forested Puget islet and touch each other where we pee and kill ourselves together at some point? Who knows?

I'm not ashamed to say I thought there was legit a good chance Penix like never played for UW or was injured by like the Michigan State game in 2022. Gotta give the gods credit it was like the one time in the past 30 years shit just actually worked out for Washington and wasn't having to get. shit fall apart or overcome things constantly the past two seasons.

My seven or eight win guess in the poll for last season was based entirely off rolling the dice on how long before Penix would blow out a knee, achilles, or die of AIDS. He stayed healthy, which doomed my guess right to hell.
 
I'm embarrassed to admit it, but this thread has me thinking that I've been wrong for the past 11 years and we're actually not supposed to be shit-poasting here.

minions I was simply fucko plagiarizing his shit and adding in my own genius material as a color commentator. Things
did work out just a little differently that what I was describing however.
