The us is going to rebuild Gaza

My only concern is that this turns into another Iraq. I'm sure we will handle it much differently this time, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
This is just Trump trying to negotiate a better deal. No one is really building sh*t in Gaza until Hamas is gone and I don't see that happening. It's like earth quakes or LA riots. It happens, then calms down until the next tectonic plate or next generation wants to give it a go. Nobody puts up a $200 million dollar building without insurance. And when a $1000 car bomb can take it down nobody is getting insurance. Jordan took in a bunch of Palestinians once and all they did was try to kill the King and takeover the country. Nobody in the ME wants anything to do with this toxic waste. If the people of Gaza wanted peace, they had it on October 6th. And then they didn't and were celebrating the end of peace on October 7. From the River to the Sea is still their operational imperative.

Nothing can be done except send hundreds of billions to Hamas
And Israel at the same time.

You make a great point.

I'm pessimistic like WestlinnDuck but I'm also willing to keep Gaza a parking lot until Hamas is gone. If the people want Hamas they can go too
I'm not willing for president Harris to send more billions to Hamas to rebuild a terrorist state. Dodged that
The optimistic view is the Saudis et al take some responsibility to give Israel a neighbor that doesn't want to eliminate them
Trump is a distruptor doing what we hired him to do

After watching Hamas come out from hiding with the hostage release, they were well equipped, well fed and showed high morale. Someone is still funding them and they aren't beaten. Stop the funding. Look at Qatar and Iran. Phase 2 of the cease fire isn't happening.

All of the humanitarian aid went to Hamas who shot Gaza alleged civilians who dared to want to eat
All aid previously sent built the tunnels and bought the weapons
No more

Is there anyone who wants to argue that Hamas has held up their end of the 2005 land transfer where Israel gave them Gaza to control?
Also, how many fucking times do I have to tell you TugTards Thant when he has leverage, Trump starts out the public negotiation with the most extreme end result. I imagine Egyptians Saudi Arabia at the very least will be involved in any political developments as Gaza reforms into a non-shithole region that isn’t run by terrorists.

I’m not sure how you beat the crazy cult stuff out of the diehard Muslim Fundies in Gaza.
I don’t think it’s possible without a regional war and massive backbone and assistance from Egypt and the Saudis. This endeavor will be Trump’s most difficult task but has the highest risk-reward factor.
These people have hated the USA, Israel, and all infidels for decades. Here in the US, there are people who have hated Trump for less than 10 years defending their Leftist secular cult, and there is no common ground to be had with those largely non-violent domestic extremists who oppose everything about Trump.

Like I said yesterday it is close to impossible but not impossible
Better by far than President Harris rebuilding Hamas with our money
Trump knows it will take bi lateral cooperation which the left used to be for until Trump is
I don't understand why anyone would hate to try

I’m good on the try.

Paying Hamas to stay in power hasn’t worked for almost 20 years now and arguably, things are worse now than then.

The people on TV freaking out over Trump’s negotiating tactics are doing so for political reasons. If you watch/read/listen to them and still believe what they are saying, even after being wrong almost every time, then that’s on you.
We have a handful of those people on the Tug. You’d think they’d get tired of being wrong almost every time, yet here we are as Phil Connors, seeing the same hysterical TugTard act daily, and it’s like a new day for them with no knowledge of the past.
