The course is drying out, and I think it’s going to play pretty tough the first couple days. If there is rain on the weekend, I could see the winner being under par. If not, I doubt anyone breaks par. I’ve been watching Live From religiously this week, and most players and caddies think the winner will be over par based on what they’re seeing right now.
 
I'd fade Rory big time this week …
I'm as big of a fan of Rory as there is but he's 1) not in form and 2) everything I've seen of his prep looks like he's hitting the mental eject button early

Yeah not happening. There might be like 2 bogey free rounds in total.

This course is insane, and it’s getting harder by the minute. Shane Lowry shot 9 over with an eagle. Tomorrow is going to be a bloodbath as it continues to dry out. The cut might be double digits over par. Absolutely incredible round by Spaun today. I texted my friend who’s the coach for our buddy that’s playing, and he said it’s unreal how hard it is.
 
Lawrence is one of those Afrikaner big game hunters. Final group at Troon last year, he may not go away, seems to play hard courses well.
 
My birthday always falls around Father's Day and the Open. My wife asked if I wanted to do anything Sunday
