He's going to be great at Miami next year.
Unfortunately, if history is any indication, Rick will have to have two or three god awful seasons before that happens
Richt has at least until 2020. And by then he'll have talent at Miami and going 9-3 every year (because the ACC is so bad), so it won't matter.
He has talent there now. He has an elite defense, and more than enough weapons on offense to not be losing to fucking Virginia.
Richt sucks. But you already know that.
Sucks is A strong word though after yesterday, it rolls off the tongue a little bit more easily. I still say that his record over an extended period of time in the SEC put him well north of sucking.
Query: Would Peterman have done better at Georgia over the same period of time than Richt? Honest question.
I don’t think you can compare. Richt drew off of an Ocean of talent at Georgia. Sure you had to fight Bama, Auburn, LSU and FSU for it. But there was much moar of it to go around than the West Coast and Peterman. I’d say they are comparable in one respect as neither could win the Big Game. So it’s very well possible that Pete is Richt.
You have to fight those schools for it and then play those schools. Pete doesn't have to fight those schools or play those schools.
Each one operates where he is. He doesn't operate in SEC talent territory but he also hasn't built his record in the SEC.
