Your dad was a stud in college, played in the NFL for 8 or 9 years and is a D-1 coach. Then you become a highly rated recruit.

Co-worker's son played on the Bothell State Championship team. Granted that's a couple year out, but word on the street among the Bothell faithful is that Sirmon is widely disliked by his current teammates and generally considered a douche. Oh, and he's not that good.

A lot of times guys who aren't talented and confident perceive guys who are talented and confident as cocky douche bags and a lot of times it's true. The best players at any level are usually cocky douche bags. Tom Brady is a huge prick. He prefers White receivers and has no problem admitting he's friends with Donald Trump. Think about Peyton Manning pressing his bare ass on an athletic trainers head as a joke when he was in college. If Sirmon is a cocky douche bag I don't care as long as he works hard and can play.
