The one fair point I'll concede is that the SEC would have fewer national titles with a four team playoff over the last 16 years, just because of the sample size effect.

Fuck Sagarin. I'm all for advanced stats, but these SEC teams don't play anyone out of conference, only play 8games in conference, and then get plungered in bowl season. The model is flawed, and, as always, stats are for losers.
