The Science is settled

Pitt hasn’t done a lot since Marino left. Do we need to go into Oregon again?
 
The top 17 seems right and is hard to mess up. Michigan State way too low. Don't they have two legit national titles and a few more debatable? UCLA is fine. Their overall record and accomplishments is a lot even if they've been underwhelming for 30 plus years now.
 
Virginia Tech and Wisconsin feel a bit high, especially VT. I can't name what they've accomplished in my lifetime besides 1-2 major bowl wins and they aren't a historical power in any way.
Wisconsin, I mean I guess they've won their conference and Rose Bowl a good bit. 18-25 is all a bit interchangeable, except Virginia Tech, which I would put behind Oregon quite honestly.
