My guess is that Trudeau will declare victory over the truckers, count to 5 Mississippi, and then announce that Covid rates have improved and based on the science and the science alone, he is now lifting the mandates. He'll also add some little thing about reserving the right to bring the the mandates back later, as a middle finger to the working class.

Read Wen’s last sentence. She realizes that they need to release restrictions in order to reactivate them at a later time. If people just stop complying they lose their ability to ever impose them again. This is the pivot they want to go to without a full accounting of what was known what along the way. That is why we need to bury everyone involved in commissions and tribunals.
